After a Year Long Hiatus...

Man, it's been so long since I've updated this, I feel like I should reintroduce myself again. But luckily, my bio is over on the side. :D

Anyway, I'm sorry I haven't updated this in a long time. So much has been going on recently, dealing with college finals and adjusting to a new job and such. I won't update this blog everyday, but I'll update it as soon as something meaningful and inspirational comes up.

Again, sorry for the delay.

Who Do I Write Like?

I'm sure most of you writers have heard of the website, I Write Like. If you don't know, it's a simple little program that analyzes your writing and compares it to a famous writer. Here's the results of mine:

I write like
Margaret Atwood

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

If any of you readers have already done this, tell me who!

To tell the truth, I'm a little upset about mine. I mean, I know Ms. Atwood is famous and all...by why do I write like a girl?!

The Cenueraughtscapi - A History

From what you already know, the Cenueraughtscapi is a legendary monster that is related to a Silf. A Silf is a serpent-like beast that is very fast and agile. Sometimes it is known as the Graceful Killer for its ability to strike without warning and sound. Many groups have ventured into its lair and will still continue, not even knowing their comrades have fell to the beast's clutches, until they are caught themselves. As of late, the Wyrm dragons have been confused with Silfs, leading these rare dragons an endangered species.

The Cenueraughtscapi is a descendant from the Silf family, only they have four legs, each with talons as hard and sharp as forged steel. They retain their long, lithe shape, but they also have a plumage of feathers around its head. Many have thought that the feathers are used for decoration or attracting a mate. They are only half right. The feathers also serve a different purpose. When it senses danger, the Cenueraughtscapi will have the feathers harden into the same steel-like property of its talons. It will often bullrush its attackers, but afterwards, the Cenueraughtscapi must be cautious whipping its head around, lest it severs its head from its body. Thus, the Cenueraughtscapi is very intelligent and very calculating.

In short, if you ever find yourself face-to-face with a Cenueraughtscapi, back away slowly and show no signs of hostility. Cenueraughtscapis will only attack if they're provoked or threatened, but in any case, be prepared to run. Some of these beings are naturally aggressive.

New Blog - The Pirate Adventures

Those of you that I know on the Underground, you've probably already heard of this legendary topic. For those of you who haven't, allow me to summarize: The Pirate Adventures is a collaborative story effort that was birthed in an online chat between two of the senior members there. People would create their own pirate persona, and would participate in swashbuckling adventures with them. Generally, at first, people would choose between two sides: the illustrious Captain Millard of Swiftstorm or the feared Captain Whisper. 50 pages of intertwing plots and characters led to much confusion. Now they would choose between the stern, but fair, Captain Dwibble of the Blatherstrike (which is myself) or the dastardly shenanigans of John Stride of the Swift Shadow.

You may create your character in the comments section of the Pirate Adventures. My e-mail is provided on the page as well.

If ye join the Blatherstrike, I can promise yuh a fair share of th' reward.

The Knight Escapades

The following tale is a summary of the three knights who would often find themselves in rather hilarious situations. I shall relay their tales in chapters over the flow of time, or simply when an adventure pops into this narrator's head. Before we go into details of the story, we will first discover the main characters. They are as follows:

Sir Bueford Tallow - The First Knight of the Kingdom of an Untitled Place, he commands and strategizes all types of warfare tactics. They are usually plans one would never think of, yet turn out to be surprisingly effective. One of his previous plans led him and his two compatriots to hide in a pile of dragon feces in order to infiltrate an enemy nation. The leaders quickly surrendered due to the overwhelming stench.

Sir Thomas Banebucket - A knight who brandishes the famed Baddalooshkie Staff, an implement that allows him to attack a foe. Yes, his weapon is just like any other quarterstaff, but some say this fabled staff holds a mysterious power. It has not revealed itself to Thomas. He, himself, is the healer and bard of the group, taught by the famed Drake Spindlepig himself. Thomas enjoys climbing trees as a pasttime.

Sir Drempus Puddlesnuff - The famed West Rider, Drempus possesses expert knowledge of stallions and horses, war machines of all kinds, and knows the angles of artillery and rate of projection like the back of his hand. Unfortunately, he can't operate these machines and war beasts to save his life. He almost had his life cut short due to pulling a support beam off a catapult by mistake. Although he's pretty handy with a sword and shield...given that he knows which is which.

Those are the three characters! Hopefully, you are all intrigued by this exciting, and somewhat confusing, turn of events. I shall not waste time in thinking of satirical whimsies to whet your adventurous appetites! Until the next update!
